Looking at Music 3.0 is the third in a series of exhibitions exploring the influence of music on contemporary art practices, focusing on New York in the 1980s and 1990s.
Cey Adams, founding creative director of Def Jam Recordings, is a distinguished designer who has brought his unique vision to a broad range of mediums including film, painting, graphic and merchandise design, branding, and photography. Cey designed the Looking at Music 3.0 exhibit poster for the MoMA and also talks about the early days at Def Jam and how the culture has changed over the years.
